BOSHI PLAYTESTING (LIMITED SPACE!) Sign-up required to show your game - google form closes on 4/29/26! (Playtesters welcome) FIRST SESSION: WED 5/6/26 @ 6PM - 8PM. 1002 METROPOLITAN AVE, BROOKLYN, NY 11101

Submit your game for our first playtesting session on Wednesday 5/6 at 6-8pm, at boshi's place :) We might make this monthly if people like this!

We will accept a maximum of 5-8 games for this session - we hope this cap will foster an unhurried playtesting environment that is conducive to talking shop. We'll close this form and announce the accepted games in the boshi discord server in the events form post on Wednesday 4/29. (Playtesters do not need to RSVP)

Submission is required to show a game, via the google form.

Loose expectations (also on the google form):

  • Submit a game at any stage of development. Grey-boxes and paper prototypes welcome.
  • Games developed using AI tooling for either code or assets are disallowed. This is not a judgment on those projects, but an effort to keep this event for crafters enjoying the details their craft to gather and improve.
  • The event is public. Anyone can come to playtest. Don't submit a game you're not allowed to/comfortable with sharing.
  • If you're showing a game, bring your own laptop. If you would like to borrow accessories (keyboard, mouse, monitor), let us know at least 2 days ahead of time for our pre-event setup.
  • Help ensure everyone's games are sufficiently playtested. Unless all other games are getting played consistently, try to playtest at least 2 other games while you're at the event.
  • Consider setting up your game station so you can freely play other games without missing out on feedback (if relevant). Perhaps leave written playtesting instructions, a notebook for playtesters to leave asynchronous notes, and/or run OBS on your computer to record gameplay.
  • Let us know what you think about the event! The last 30 minutes will be a debrief session and we really want to hear your feedback.
  • We may accept fewer than 8 games submitted. The host may show their own game, if they have one. Additionally, they may accept fewer games if for example several multiplayer games are accepted.
